The Book Thief Page 100

This is for a project for my Into to Illustration class. The task was to take the hundredth page of our favorite book and draw out the scene. The book I chose was The Book Thief. In this scene Liesel Meminger is under the table after being hit by Rose for taking money to send a letter to Liesel's mother. Later in the night Hans comes and plays his accordion. I really wanted to capture the warmth of Hans and the cold and distant feelings that Liesel feels under the table.
