Maggie's day with Fleas

This was the first project that I completed in my Illustration class. Our task was to take our pets interact with our class's emotional support dog, Maggie, and create either a children's book cover or a 2-page spread. I chose to design the cover. The pet I chose was my sister's cat, Pulgas, whose name means Fleas in Spanish. Since he is an indoor cat he doesn't have a lot of interactions with other animals therefore he would be scared of Maggie. But Maggie is very gentle dog so she would try to be as friendly and warm welcoming to Fleas.
