How Would You Paint Me?

I am currently taking a Collaboration Studio class and what we do is chose a theme and in groups based on our majors we create a project or final piece based on the chosen theme. After weeks of research and multiple revisions of what our final presentation would look like my group decided to go with the challenge of translation. We made a series of diptych portraits based off of the poem "How Would You Paint Me?" by Christy Ann Martine. From this poem we decided to draw each other (me and my partner) he would draw me in pencil and I would draw him digitally. This is my half of the project. The background is based off of a portion of one of Wassily Kandinsky, a famous abstract artist.
