California Strawberry Festival

This was for a final project for my Intro to Illustration class. We were told to create an event poster. I chose to do mine on the California Strawberry Festival. At first I really wanted to make a cartoon like strawberry in whipped cream or something simple, but my professor really pushed me to make this as luscious and extravagant as possible, so I did. This was chosen to be put up in the college’s student show. I’m so happy it was picked! :D
