Adaira's Woodland

After the death of his beloved wife 4 years earlier, Ùisdean raises his two young daughters, Caitriona “Ceit”(9 yrs.) and Einin “Little Bird” (6yrs.) in a forest miles away from the closest town. Raised to treat the forest with respect as it was the home of many spirits, these two mischievous sisters will find out these magical spirits are more than just a bedtime story.
One afternoon Catriona and Einin are unable to figure out their way home. Subsequently ignoring their father’s warning of wandering too far from home, they are helped by the Spirit of the Forest, Nanna. She shows the sister’s an entire new view of the forest and explains the little hints of magic that hide behind each leaf.

I was hugely inspired by Pixar’s Brave’s concept work such as their environments. I really appreciated the story they told about the relationship between a parent and child. In this project and story I wanted to tell my version of the story with a hint of magic. I also want to explore
